Cha-am Mareukathaiyawan Palace
Maruekatayawan (Mrigadayavan) the summer seaside palace, often referred to as "the palace of love and hope is located midway between Cha-am and Hua Hin. It was built in 1923 under the royal command of King Rama VI using golden teakwood from the demolished Hat Chao Samran Palace.
The palace is open to the public daily from 08.00-16.00.

The Hua Hin Floating Market is a bit more up-scale with many shops on the banks of a small, meandering, man-made river. All of the shops were built in a retro style to remind you of the olden days in Hua Hin. The boardwalk around the lake is wide which allows you plenty of space as you explore the shops. There are no cheap or tacky souvenirs here. Most things are good quality handmade products that you won’t find elsewhere. There are also paddle boats and Thai boats in which you can float in the canal/river.
